 LOBSTER – Otis Rum Brand Design

We created a graphic identity that wants to break with the typical masculine, ‘pirate’-like rum branding. Otis is a Premium Cayman rum that ages underwater by the gentle rocking of the waves.The brand design is a tribute to rhythm and motion, to long nights in smokey jazz bars, to intense moments filled with conversation. A rum for the sensual, the poets, the artists.  The brand story and art direction focus on the moment in which the rum is enjoyed. A wrapper around the bottle neck contains guidelines to set the mood for the perfect Otis moment. On the business cards the contact information is transcribed into a little story of the owners enjoying their Otis moment.The bottles are custom made and closed with a wax seal.We created the brand strategy, graphic identity, art direction, web design and social media.
