Oatsmith, a noble newcomer, disrupts the cereal category with a remarkable new oats range.

The Context: With the demand for healthy-living growing, we helped Uvelka build a new to world cereal brand that seamlessly blends timeless tradition and modern expertise, all whilst bringing to the table the best ingredients and encouraging healthy habits.

The Challenge: To create a premium brand positioned to appeal to the wellness-orientated individuals and families. The mission was to create a captivating brand identity for the oat cereal range that sets a new standard for healthy living and disrupts the a category in a sea of sameness.

The Solution: We created a brand that marries the art of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary expertise. We first delivered this through a new brand name; ‘Oatsmith’ reflecting a commitment to craft and a heritage-inspired ethos that delivered quality reassurance.

Leveraging a world of noble storytelling, we crafted a premium and elevated look and feel, combining timeless illustration, vibrant colours, and eclectic typography to invite consumers to embark on a journey of discovery.

The brand’s logo features a modern execution of a traditional typeface alongside an emblematic anvil and oat motif, symbolising a respect for hard work and methodology. This carefully crafted visual identity bridges the gap between tradition and modernity, embodying the heart and soul of the brand.

To further enhance the storytelling, Oatsmith’s packaging design incorporates intricate, etching-style illustrations that honour the purity and natural essence of oats and other wholesome ingredients. Each product’s design features thoughtful details, while new product photography highlights delicious serving suggestions, ensuring the brand feels both authentic and aspirational.

Oatsmith’s product range includes instant oatmeal, rolled whole-grain oats, and a variety of flavoured options brought to life using a spectrum of vibrant colourways to support portfolio navigation.
