Biancaffè is a roasting company active in the Salerno area since 1932, specializing in B2B.
Born as a small artisanal roasting company, the Bianco family business has been transformed into a modern industrial complex in more than 90 years. Rigorous product selection and meticulousness at all stages of processing are valuable legacies of artisanal care, which uses modern technologically advanced methods to control the product’s quality standard.

In 2020, the company has the ambition to become an active brand in B2C as well, so it needs to speak to a different audience than the one it is used to. Having an important history behind it, the brand needed to maintain a certain recognizability without being distorted. The choice fell on a graceful typography that gives greater readability to the brand without breaking down the word – as before. The softness of the selected font picks up the drops and creaminess of the coffee in the final part of the graces. In the key-visual, emphasis was placed on the raw material and with it the workers in the industry. The aromas and flavors of coffee stories from various corners of the world are told by the Salerno roastery. The stamp is the emblem of the journey, whose protagonist is the Biancaffè consumer: the traveler savors the diversity of aromas and the stamp preserves the memory and flavor. The new product packaging is divided into three assets: the device wave that welcomes the brand, the illustration that tells the background of the coffee, and, in the foreground, the stamp that highlights the selected blend.
