Amici, the club for Friends of La Tagliatella, has included among its new gifts some bottles of Nucillo ‘e Curti, a delicious artisan Neapolitan liqueur made from Sorrento walnuts.
When planning its design, we decided not to reference the usual trends in beverage packaging, but rather to design a collection of containers for the brand which, while making clear the differences between the different products, would create a consistent overall image.
This liqueur is made from the hull of the walnut which is left to ferment in alcohol for two months. It has become part of the tradition of the areas where walnuts are produced. In Naples, families belonging to the older generation with strong ties to tradition offer this liqueur at the end of a meal. Due to the influence of the Neapolitan dialect, this liqueur is known as “nucillo”.
The “nucillo ‘e curti” is produced in an exquisite craftsman’s technique. The walnuts used are the quality known as “Sorrento” and are gathered by hand from especially selected trees from the area around Vesuvius. In the 24th. June on the day the walnuts are harvested, the hulls are cut into four parts by hand and are put into large green glass demijohns containing pure alcohol and natural spices and left to ferment. This liqueur of a high digestive quality which derives not only from its high alcoholic content (never less than 50°) but also thanks to cloves which are among the various spices used.

Their customers take pride of place and we concentrate their efforts on taking care of each and every detail.
