Frolik – Juniper Moon Gin

A small, South African craft distillery approached us with ambitious ideas for their small batch gin. Armed with only the name and facing an incredibly competitive and visually driven category, we were determined to create something beautiful that would make Juniper Moon a coveted part of any gin collection.

Inspired by the distiller’s stories of brewing test batches under the night sky, we created packaging that embodied this story of exploration. The label is illustrated with themes of stargazing and discovery, giving it a feeling of romance and anticipation. The labels were crafted using traditional Letterpress on rich cotton paper and adorned with delicate foil, giving it a lovely tactile feel that begs to be touched and displayed. The intricate details mirror the care and attention taken to craft each batch of this unique gin.

The result was a brand that has quickly taken off, with production being doubled during the first year due to the increasing interest, and is now being sold by major retailers throughout South Africa.
