Baya Baya is a bold, tropical-inspired açaí bowl brand that brings rhythm, color, and wholesome goodness to life. Designed as a modern day tropical retreat, the brand merges retro aesthetics with playful energy, offering customers not just a bowl but a vibrant experience that delights the senses. From its name to its visual system, Baya Baya embodies joy, freshness, and the richness of açaí culture.
Challenge:
The objective was to craft a brand identity that balances the nutritious, health-focused appeal of açaí with a premium, youthful café experience. In a crowded market of smoothie and wellness cafés, the brand needed to stand out while creating an emotional connection with its audience young, design-aware, and health-conscious.
Solution:
We built a dynamic identity rooted in the tropical origin of the açaí berry. The color palette features Bold Berry (#632365), Golden Glow (#dab464), and Soft Sand (#ead8ba) a mix that evokes indulgence, sunlight, and organic comfort. The logo system is clean, flexible, and retro-inspired, supporting seamless use across signage, packaging, and merchandise. Typography blends the soft curves of Aliskaje with the structured elegance of Remingo, adding polish to the playfulness.
Brand applications were carefully crafted from menu books and takeaway cups to café interiors and social media visuals. Each touchpoint is designed to reflect the brand’s tropical warmth, luxurious feel, and rhythmic energy making Baya Baya not just a café, but a visual and flavorful escape.
