“Día, one of the largest supermarket chains in Spain*, was looking to redesign the packaging of its main spirits (gin, rum and whiskey) to gain access to a higher niche market.Our mission involved endowing the product with quality and personality, helping to put the brands on level with the competition and encouraging customer purchases.For Barmon’s gin we were inspired by the origin of the beverage and its history, creating an elegant and distinguished bottle with subtle British touches in the font and illustrations to give it a premium image with character.For the Dominican Velero rum we created a design more in line with sector standards. The elegant packaging with simple lines and metallic touches highlights the sailboat that not only gives the brand its name but is also a very important element of rum-world imagery.In the case of Wordens whiskey, the new design reflects the American spirit and legendary Kentucky tradition through the font and iconic illustrations of the corn plant and the U.S. flag.”
