It’s no secret that many girls (who are the target audience of the project) treat evening bathing as a ritual that helps to relax, forget about the hustle and bustle of the days for a while, immerse themselves in dreams. Therefore, to create the packaging, I decided to be inspired by the aesthetics of the old days, when witches kept the ingredients necessary for the preparation of potions in many small jars on the shelves, as well as alchemists who created different potions.
The main elements of the packaging of spirit bath salts are jars of different shapes and labels pasted on top of them, since each type of salt has its own unique graphics. In addition to the fact that the shape of the bottles is different, as on a real old shelf, each sticker also has a different shape and typography, which creates a special atmosphere of magic and enhances the effect that the packaging refers to different time intervals and owners.
Packaging involves the buyer in the unpacking process, because the opening line of the spider coincides with the beginning line of the caps of the jars depicted on it. Opening the package, the consumer opens the bottle. It is no coincidence that real glass jars are not used for packaging, the variety of shapes of which will be expensive to produce. In addition, each bag of salt is designed for one bath, so putting such volumes of salt in a glass bottle is also not profitable.
So, girls can collect the entire collection of salt (there are eight types of salt in total) or choose only the most favorite types of salt that can be mixed together, which refers to the ritual of creating a magic potion that will improve the mood and make the evening more enjoyable.
