Avicola Premium’s Packaging Concept for Gourmet Free-Range Eggs by Student Lourdes Suárez Quintana

Avicola Premium’s Packaging Concept for Gourmet Free-Range Eggs by Student Lourdes Suárez Quintana

It is a comprehensive packaging design for a range of containers for four free-range eggs of three different calibers. The Avicola Premium brand requires this design to introduce its high-quality eggs into the gourmet market, so the purchase of these containers would be made in said gourmet market.

A folding case made of recycled charcoal is designed with capacity for four eggs. An elegant design that allows the product to be stored and transported safely and compactly, and at the same time serves as a display of the item in commercial establishments. The structural design is designed to take up little space, be small, safe and applicable both in commercial establishments and in clients’ homes. When opening the case we can see the four eggs placed in suspension and with a separation between them, whose function is to avoid possible collisions and allow the customer to comfortably insert their hand to remove the product. The arrangement of this product within the pack is designed to highlight the qualities of the item and to clearly appreciate its quality. It has an elegant band that includes the necessary information for the sale of the food, and acts as a closing device and tamper-evident seal.

For the graphics, abstract illustrations made with tempera are used on elements present in the poultry habitat, such as grass, earth and wood. These hand-drawn illustrations seek to represent the closeness that the company has with its clients and animal welfare by raising chickens in the wild. Three different chromatic ranges similar to the colorsof the field are used to help identify the three caliber varieties. Seeking to highlight the brand logo, a silver stamping finish is applied that gives a more elegant appearance to the final graphic.

In short, a comprehensive packaging design is carried out for the free-range eggs of the Avicola Premium brand. It is a design that seeks to represent the character and close treatment that identifies both the brand, an identity that cares about its customers and its chickens, which is why it offers quality through its natural breeding methods that are respectful of the environment and animal welfare. . For all these reasons, this elegant, different and unique design is created that offers high quality both in its products and in the packaging design.
