Buzzacott, Unveiles Refreshed Brand Identity by Athlon
Award-winning design company Athlon, has partnered with accountancy and advisory firm Buzzacott, to deliver a modern, new brand identity for the business. The brand refresh marks a significant milestone in Buzzacott’s journey.
Trusted by private clients, businesses and non-for-profit organisations, Buzzacott has a strong history of delivering advice across audit, tax, financial planning, corporate finance and business services. The business has achieved incredible growth over the past few years, but the brand and website hadn’t kept pace and didn’t fully reflect the firm and where it was heading. The business recognised the need for a new identity to speak to this future.
Aligning with a new ‘Fit for the Future’ strategy, Athlon was briefed to create the brand strategy and an identity refresh that reflected the Buzzacott of today. A new website was needed to work harder for the Buzzacott team and give potential clients a user-centric experience when they sought advice.
A key challenge was exploring how best to articulate Buzzacott’s value proposition to a diverse audience, all with different needs. Across businesses, individuals and not-for-profit organisations, Athlon has defined a positioning that speaks to the heritage of the business and connects with Buzzacott’s diverse client base while still feeling like one cohesive brand.
The refresh was designed to reflect how Buzzacott shows up every day to help its clients move forward – through a creative positioning grounded in sharper perspectives, clearer thinking, and confidence in every decision.
The refreshed brand is anchored by green – chosen because it represents growth, balance, and calming authority, qualities that sit at the core of Buzzacott’s work. The darker green reflects stability, depth, and trust; the brighter tone brings energy and forward momentum. Together with white, they create a palette that feels distinct, confident, and contemporary within the professional services world.
Whilst the brand wordmark has been retained, everything around it has been modernised. A contemporary brand typeface, a new vibrant confident colour palette, bold people photography and image art direction and a new brand voice guide. At its heart is a redesigned website making the Buzzacott brand clearer, more authentic and easier to connect with.
