Founded as first refined niche perfume house in Amsterdam, Annindriya debuted with five unique perfumes. Annindriya collaborate with creative professionals, emerging and star perfumers worldwide. Together developing fragrances to celebrate life with a sense of wonder.

What’s in a Name?
The name Annindriya has its roots in one of the oldest languages, Sanskrit, meaning ‘the power of the senses’ and ‘the highest insights’. Annindriya strives to surprise people with its unique fragrances. ‘Panca Indra’ refers to the power of ‘five senses’, but also encompasses concepts of focus, desires, and willpower. Essentially, ‘Indriya’ encapsulates our sensepowers, enabling us to feel and engage with the world we live in.

Established Perfumers
All the perfumes have been developed in collaboration with a selection of established perfumers, such as Christophe Laudamiel (Strangelove, Tom Ford), Francesca Bianchi (Francesca Bianchi Perfumes), Spyros Drosopoulos (Baruti), as well as emerging talents like Meabh McCurtin (IFF) and olfactory artist Chester Gibs.

Annindriya is founded by chemist and perfume designer Tanja Deurloo, who is famous for the Netherlands’ first haute perfumery, the Perfume Lounge.

Description per scent:
Orris Soyeux
A potent dose of orris, a subtle hint of powdery skin-scent through heliotrope and musk, an elegant aldehyde-infused citrus top note, and voluptuous sensuality from magnolia and narcissus—all bathing in the warmth of labdanum, patchouli, leather notes, and vanilla. The result: sensual, silky leather. Meet Orris Soyeux.
Italian perfumer Francesca Bianchi captures the irresistible sensation of smooth silk and soft leather on bare skin in Orris Soyeux, exuding intimacy, sophistication, and vintage boldness. The powdery orris note takes center stage, with a touch more patchouli.

Tipsy Tuberose
Heading out for the night or staying in, Tipsy Tuberose playfully flirts with you throughout the day. Confident and expressive, it embodies sensuality without ever crossing into vulgarity. The carnal, creamy tuberose, drenched in Irish whiskey accords, seamlessly combines vintage charm with contemporary allure.
Rising star perfumer Meabh McCurtin has innovatively optimized all ingredients known to have a proven effect on seduction and self-esteem. Tipsy Tuberose is not only a delight to wear but also enhances well-being.
Kicking off with a cheerful splash of upcycled orange flower water, Tipsy Tuberose introduces an intriguing contrast with spicy pink pepper and balsamic tonka bean. Luxurious white flowers, with tuberose taking center stage, are counterbalanced with oakwood, vetiver and Davana oil. To top it off, Tuberose is infused with boozy whiskey accords, like those found in an ‘Old-Fashioned’ cocktail.

Seekwood
As the morning sun gently warms the woods, Seekwood effortlessly guides you into a brand-new day. Skillfully crafted by perfumer Spyros Drosopoulos, Seekwood embodies the essence of carefree living. With a woody base of Santalol (sandalwood), cedarwood, and papyrus, Seekwood is stylishly spiced up with natural Greek saffron and sensual myrrh. The vibrant presence of orange flower and osmanthus illuminates each drop with an energizing glow, sun-kissed and sophisticated. Carefree and ready to embrace a day full of promise, that’s the essence of Seekwood. It’s a reminder that today’s simplest pleasures can bring the greatest joy. The contrast between sunny brightness and layered woods, cheerful and in an adult manner, was a technical challenge to create.

Vetiver Rain
Experience Vetiver Rain, a modern aquatic interpretation by master perfumer Christophe Laudamiel. Envision a tropical rain on the moist, earthy soil amidst the lush jungle. This fragrance skillfully blends Haitian, Indonesian, and Bourbon Vetiver for a refreshingly green scent, enhanced by bergamot, grapefruit, and natural orange flower absolute for a touch of optimism and brightness. A burst of green freshness, reminiscent of the feeling after the rain, has never smelled so elegant and energetic. Natural violet leaves from Egypt and French clary sage complement the aromatic base of creamy sandalwood and rich labdanum. Elegantly lingering on your skin, the fragrance is wrapped with a transparent veil of molecular musks and moss.

This fragrance by olfactive artist Chester Gibs is full of contrast and movement: cool, green freshness, kaffir lime leaves citrus contrasted with warm, creamy tones.
