CMYK is a color based beverage brand based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Their 2020 summer lemonade line has three different sour flavors: Strawberry lemonade, Rose lemonade and Blueberry lemonade. As the business owners launched their drinks onto supermarkets and other outlets they wanted to make sure that their brand would not only stand out but reflect the flavor of each drink. It was important to highlight the fun candied beverages using the ingredients inside: strawberry, rose and blueberry as the main focus of the design. Allowing the fruits to be the drive for the abstract shapes and visuals. Bringing color blocking and geometric shapes in a grid based design. While the three drinks maintain a consistency in their respective layouts they each represent a different set of expectations of what consumer is about to enjoy. These representations were created by the color of the ingredients as well as their shapes (example: The rose bottle was mainly pink).
