An Identity To Reward Creativity

About Contribute.to
We believe that artists should be rewarded for sharing their passion online and not give it away for free.
There are over 50 million artists and creators trying to make a living. They share one fundamental challenge with graduates from art schools. There is no adequate way for them to make money with
the work and content they share online. We want to change that by better connecting artists and creators to their audience with the Contribute.to Card, a digital multimedia Card. The Card showcases images, video and audio of an artist’s work, cause, passion or project and has a button that makes it easy for the artist to receive voluntary payments from people who are enjoying the creative content. Launched by one simple link, the Card is super portable and we added Matching and Endorsement to scale up contributions.
Artists and creators at large use our Contribute.to solution to connect and communicate with people who want to support their work and express their appreciation with money (instead of likes).

Our solution
We worked closely with the team to help them share their belief across brand, web, social, print and film. The brand is built from a core graphic element, the digital brush, which fuses the tactility of art with our digital age.

The core graphic element of the Contribute.to brand is the dynamic swish. Inspired by artists’ brush strokes and our new digital age, the swish fuses the tactility of art with our digital age. This comes to life further through the brand illustration which inherits the style and personality of the angular brush strokes. A contemporary serifless type face was used that celebrates the beauty of being imperfect; the letterforms are unaligned, quirky and funky. Expressing the breadth of creators and art produced on the platform. This is all paired with a soft but vibrant colour pairings that can be used throughout the brand to create dynamic graphics.
