An Elegant Brand for a Marble and Granite Company by Lucas Coradi

Vero Beach Marble & Granite is a company located in the city of Vero Beach, Florida, USA. Specialized in transforming client projects into dazzling and sophisticated environments, the company uses a wide range of marble and granite from various regions of the world.

To establish a distinct and impactful brand identity, Vero Beach Mármores e Granitos sought to differentiate itself from competitors by avoiding cliché symbols such as Greek marble columns that were commonly used in the sector. It was crucial for the brand to convey its message clearly and effortlessly while maintaining flexibility for a variety of applications.

The solution devised for the brand’s symbol was based on the concept of diagonal overlapping, which emulates the way stones are displayed in the company’s showroom. This design element creates a visually captivating interplay of light and shadow, featuring one stone delicately resting on top of another. Within this symbolic representation, the central part of the symbol subtly reveals the initial of the brand, the letter “V”.

The typography was crafted to complement the symbol, employing the same aesthetic of light and shadow. This technique involves strategically placed cutouts in a readable sans serif font, further enhancing the overall visual appeal and cohesiveness of the brand.

The brand’s main graphic element is a pattern inspired by the intricate designs found in marble. This choice reflects the belief that simple solutions often produce the most appropriate and elegant results for any given project. Likewise, the color scheme chosen for the brand is inspired by the blue-green hues of the Vero Beach sea, paying homage to the company’s local surroundings and creating a sense of connection to its roots.

Through the careful fusion of these design elements, Vero Beach Marble & Granite gains a strong and unique brand identity.
