Lancaster Craft Spirits is distillery and brewery located in the historic Edward McGovern Tobacco building, built circa 1880.  After years of brewing premium beer they are releasing first American single malt whiskey. Launching Lancaster Craft explore unique synergies and innovative methods.

Patience, attention to detail and the finest quality grains and molasses enable us to unlock the potential in every reaction, ingredient and slow, steady distillation. As long time craft brewers, flawless fermentation is naturally an obsession. Our proprietary yeast, working at precise temperature points throughout an extended fermentation, imparts the distinctive flavours and rich mouthfeel that makes the difference in our finished spirits.

Milling, mashing and fermenting malted barley for over 25 years, it’s no wonder our passion lies in single malt whiskey. We pot distill American Single Malt Whiskey, Rum and limited amounts of Rye and Bourbon from grain to glass in our Plum Street distillery. We also brew big, barrel-aged ales with deliberately created malt bills and flavor profiles to season our casks as they age, then fill with carefully selected whiskey from some of the finest distilleries in the country, allowing us to develop specific flavors over 6 to 24 months or longer.

As creative innovators with decades of experience in the beverage and culinary field, we’ve created a line of signature spirits including our Hop Infused American Gins, Criterion and Euphoria; Amish 4 Grain White Whiskey, Fresh Flavored Vodkas and our super premium …Vodka.
