The Altar Uco Edad Media label is inspired by the meaning that wine had in that historical period. A drink that was capable of bringing dramatically opposite poles into contact: kings and people, religion and pleasure, sacredness and sin, war and peace. These poles that coexisted in a complex social framework and with dichotomies, and that were present in the wine.
The wine was enjoyed by the wealthy and poor, and was drunk at religious mass and at parties, but it was also drunk by the homeless and the philosophers. But in addition, at that time wine was the result between nature and the hand of man who molds its fruits into a superior nourishment: wine. Altar Uco Edad Media seeks to honor wine as a sublime icon of the time.
