Context
In 2020, Adidas Colombia launched a competition to design its new pieces to display in its printing press and print live on different branded garments during the launch of its new Adidas Performance store in Medellín, Colombia. This was the winner.
Brief / Problem
During the first video call with Adidas®, I found the phrase “a stage for everyone” as an important insight. Adidas projects itself as an inclusive space where everyone can share and enjoy a passion that unites them: Sport and love for the city, in this case Medellín, so the main task was to Integrate sport, the city of Medellín and the DNA of Adidas® in a piece that could work on t-shirts, hoodies, posters, patches and many more pieces.
Solution
To make the user connect with this context, I created a short story that is told through an illustration, I decided to see the city like a great show, a wide stage in which we all have a moment to be the center of attention. In the city, even if it is under the light of a street lamp that works metaphorically as theater reflectors, there, the Mountains, streets, walls with graffiti and public transport are our spectators. In such an immense environment there is space for all sports and these are the ones that take over the city.
They run the city.
