“AdBooka” is a regional annual of creativity in the Balcan region. Every year the best campaigns and interviews from leading marketing industry experts are gathered in it. It is celebrates the previous year and is supposed to inspire for the year to come.
So for the 2024 edition, we turned the sixth edition of this amazing book into a “A book that can’t be bound”.
Creativity is free, it breaks through boundaries, and it is contagious. It spreads unexpectedly, almost subversively. From hand to hand, from mouth to mouth. A truly great idea cannot be bound by the conventions of the expected. This book that celebrates creativity becomes more than just a book. It becomes a symbol, and a device of self expression.
So just like creativity cannot be bound, so this book is designed to break out of it’s cover… We turned it’s chapters into a series of wall posters that are there to be torn out, shared to others, posted over the walls. So that the inspiration from the book can find a way into the world around us.
When all 8 chapter segments are arranged in order and read consecutively they form the “Manifesto of Creativity”. A promise of the creative community of the region, to itself… And to the world. To never forget the power, and value of our work.
Each book cover is unique as it has been produced with the same technique that is use when sticking traditional wall posters. This technique creates specific patterns of creasing that make each book one of the kind.
This way the cover of the book itself becomes the first poster. Breaking out of it’s binding before it is even opened.
