Aabshar®, is a digital platform that brings you the finest quality dry fruits assembled with Love & dedication from Kashmir. The word Aabshar® means ‘waterfall’ in Urdu and represents one’s life journey.

Water, one of the crucial four elements for life on our planet, represents the idea of continuous creation and renewal embodied in their passion project. This venture intends to empower local farmers and ethically source their products.

The design consists of elements that represent the definitive history of the valley of Kashmir.

Dry Fruits: A Symbolism of Nourishment
Most dry fruits draw richness in minerals, proteins, fiber, and vitamins. They are an excellent and healthy substitute for daily snacks.

Kangri: The Eternal Savior
Kangri is an earthen bowl encased in an exquisitely woven wicker basket. It is filled with small glowing coal or wood in dying fire (embers) covered with ash, symbolizing our land’s culture.

Lake: A Source of Reflection
Taking into consideration its reflecting power, it symbolizes a mirror for self-contemplation as well as a chance for revelation.

Shikara: A Symbol of Love
The boat is a symbol of a journey, a voyage of life.

A Samavar: A Traditional Kettle
It is a traditional Kashmiri kettle used to brew, boil and serve Kashmiri salted tea (Noon Chai) and kahwa.

Chinar Leaf: Hallmark of Kashmir
A symbol of peace and tranquility.

Really didn’t have enough time to do a lot for this, but I’m so happy with the logo and illustrations packaging design for Aabshar. Finishing off this passion project with a post to really showcase every piece for this elegant and luxury brand! I loved creating this one with all of these Illustrations and different stroke and the modern composition and layout within each mockup.
