A.S. Strategy Brings Greek Elegance to Life with Eleology’s Premium Olive Oil Design

Eleology is not just a premium virgin olive oil brand; it is a movement, a collaboration between farmers, academics, and businesses united by a shared vision. The company supports Greek olive farmers through sustainable agricultural practices, strategic collaborations, and access to advanced expertise. Partnering with the University of West Attica, Eleology not only upholds ecological responsibility but also ensures premium quality through cutting-edge innovation. This partnership fosters local community prosperity, strengthening the livelihoods of those who nurture Greece’s ancient and new olive groves while setting a benchmark for sustainable olive oil production.

When tasked with designing Eleology’s packaging, we wanted to captivate the soul of Greece, its olive oil, its people. The essence of Eleology lies in the interplay of light and shadow, inspired by the Greek sun—the eternal force that shapes the animate and the inanimate. At the heart of the design is the shadow of an olive branch. Rather than depicting the branch itself, we chose to let its shadow speak, creating a presence through absence. This subtle, poetic choice transforms the branch into a fleeting moment, is as much place as it’s time.

The textured surface of the box mirrors the grainy, timeworn walls of whitewashed village homes. It whispers stories of resilience, tradition, and the hands that have worked the land for centuries. The pristine white of the packaging reflects the purity of Greek light, a stark yet calming contrast to the soft, grey shadow of the branch. Together, these elements evoke a sense of simplicity and quiet elegance, much like the villages of the Greek countryside.

The bottle itself is a poem in form and purpose. Its clean lines and minimalist aesthetic invite the user to reflect on the purity of its contents. Inscribed on the side of the bottle is a lyrical tribute to the farmers and their craft—a reminder that each drop of Eleology supports not only the land but also the people who dedicate their lives to it.

Echoes of Greece

Pages rustle like olive leaves,
Swooning beneath the golden chin
Of the Hellenic sun—
Father of this bottle.

Eleology Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A bottled sonnet singing secrets
Of love round the table.
Golden drops gild the hands
That tend the ancient groves.

Each purchase makes them strong,
Each drop pledges to help them prosper.
Nurture the harvest,
Weave a thread into
The community’s wellbeing.

Even when empty, the bottle stands as a guardian of the values it represents: sustainability, community, and respect for nature.

Eleology’s packaging is a testament to the brand’s ethos. It honours the past while embracing the future, weaving together the strength of tradition with the innovation of today.
