Portalegre is a region shaped by altitude, and Altas Quintas has long embraced that elevation not only as a geographical fact but as a guiding philosophy. The rebranding of “600” reflects a renewed commitment to expressing the soul of this exceptional terroir, located over 600 meters above sea level, where nature and human intention combine to produce truly distinctive wines.
This project began with a clear vision. The goal was not simply to redesign a label but to reinterpret the brand’s core values and translate the character of the land into a modern and meaningful visual identity. For the first time, the brand introduced a direct comparison between the old and the new, offering a visual narrative that illustrates evolution, intention, and depth.
The updated packaging speaks with precision and elegance. The number 600 stands boldly at the center of the label, representing more than just elevation. It marks a standard, a level of refinement, and a connection to the vineyard’s unique location. The graphic elements, typography, and textures are carefully curated to evoke the purity and structure of high-altitude viticulture.
The design process focused on coherence and authenticity, capturing the balance between minimalism and expression. Every detail was shaped to align with the brand’s storytelling, emphasizing harmony between land, product, and image. Production was executed in close partnership with Etiquel, where finishes and materials were chosen to ensure the highest level of visual and tactile quality, matching the sophistication of the wine itself.
Altas Quintas 600 is more than a reference to altitude. It is a reflection of identity, an affirmation of purpose, and a tribute to the uniqueness of Portalegre. Through this rebranding, the bottle becomes a symbol of elevation in place, in process, and in perspective.
