Collaborating with Georgian Bay Spirit Company, I was tasked with evolving the design of both can and tray packaging for their core lineup of pre-mixed cocktails. Using the existing core elements like colours, names and illustrations, I elevated the design by placing more emphasis on the product name, enlarged the fruit illustration and introduced a new “Award Winning” seal to help communicate these products being created with their award winning spirits. New typography was introduced allowing a better hierarchy and lockup of product information and design elements, as was the addition of “Original” to the product name to help identify these as their signature cocktails as potential new products are introduced to the family. Rolling out during the spring and summer, keep your eyes peeled for the new cans and trays hitting the LCBO and buy yourself a few of these tasty beverages.
