” Branding and packaging agency Our Revolution lead the conception through to execution of new smallgoods brand, The Smokeman Brothers.

The Smokeman Brothers is different to your average deli meat. It is a range of premium cra fted meats, made in Australia, and authentically smoked using sustainable timber sourced from the Victorian Highlands and The Riverina regions in Australia.

With the goal of telling a passionate brand story – an obsession of smoking meats – Our Revolution were tasked with developing the brand name, narrative, market positioning and packaging design.

Our Revolution creative director Jen Doran said the original illustration of the brothers, that feature top and centre on each product, is key to the brand’s overarching identity. “We also had to emphasise the smoked flavour. This came through highlighting provenance claims by incorporating imagery that shows the literal smoke released from the wood chips and around the window revealing the product”, she said.”
