Predictably Unpredictable
The wife, mother, sister, relative, friend, designer, innovator, entrepreneur, partner, leader, creative genius and all-round inspirational woman, it’s with great sadness that we communicate the passing of Pearlfisher’s Founding Creative Partner and CCO, Karen Welman. Karen died at the aged 59 of a heart attack while on holiday in Greece on the 24th June 2019.
A career spanning more than 30 years, a designer, innovator and one of the founders of Peralfisher in 1992. Karen Welman alongside her husband Jonathan Ford and Mike Branson who can be credited for creating one of the worlds most renowned and highly respected global agency with studios in London, New York, San Francisco and Copenhagen.
She was known for her lifelong passion for turning ideas into action and for her innovative thinking. Her work and talents earned Pearlfisher interest from global clients and a whole host of awards, most notably, being named one of the Top 10 Global Female Inventors.
