alishu & co – BIRDS
BIRDS is a project focused on coffee packaging. From the aesthetic point of view the intention was to bring unexpected, interior design inspired color schemes to coffee packaging – since many cafés use coffee bags and pouches as a decorative element. Clear color distinctions between the ranges also help customers see whether they are purchasing a espresso blend or a decaf on first glance. Then there are the birds. Seeing how many endangered species there are around the world, the goal is to support flying neighbours by donating a percentage of coffee sales (each range supports a different species) and also creating a special limited edition to support the bird cause.
