“The brief was to showcase and celebrate the unusual and unique characteristics of this new warming aromatic dark gin. The bottle colour was carefully matched to a combination of the amber coloured gin liquid and the copper distilling pots, whist conveying warmth to give clues about the taste profile of the gin. The pattern on the bottle was carefully crafted using abstract shapes taken from each of the main aromatic ingredients – for example rose-hip buds, orange segments and flower petals. The elements are then carefully re-arranged in a way to emphasise the fact the gin is derived from many floral botanicals, and overlaid on copper to represent how all the ingredients come together in the copper pot to produce something unique.”
