The brand identity was created for the Turkish tea house “Extract.” The logo combines the image of a traditional Turkish cup with the letter “E.” The pattern is made up of fragments of the logo, which can be used at different scales. “Extract” is like a library that brings together various types of Turkish tea. Each tea is represented by the first letter of its name. All these teas can be tasted and purchased at the Extract café. “Extract” is the first letter of taste.
The visual identity is built around the idea of discovery and exploration. Just like in a library, visitors can navigate through a wide collection, finding new flavors and returning to familiar ones. The use of letters as key elements creates a simple and memorable system that helps structure the variety of teas and makes the experience more interactive.
The design combines modern minimalism with subtle references to Turkish culture. Clean shapes and a restrained color palette allow the brand to feel contemporary, while the form of the cup and ornamental rhythm of the pattern add warmth and cultural depth. This balance makes the identity flexible and suitable for different formats, from packaging to interior design.
Special attention is given to how the identity works in space. The pattern can expand, repeat, and adapt to surfaces, creating a cohesive visual environment. Typography plays an important role as well, supporting readability while reinforcing the concept of a “tea library.”
Overall, the brand identity of “Extract” creates a calm and inviting atmosphere where tradition meets a modern approach, encouraging visitors to explore the rich world of Turkish tea through taste, form, and visual language.
