Designing NOMEN: A Serum Brand Built for the Defined Nigerian Man by IV Rabbits Studio

There’s a quiet gap in the Nigerian grooming market—one that isn’t talked about enough. Men are becoming more intentional about how they care for themselves. They’re reading ingredients, building routines, and investing in their appearance. But the brands available still miss them. Imported products speak in a Western voice. Local options often feel generic. Neither reflects the modern Nigerian man—aware, evolving, and proud of his identity.

NOMEN exists in that space.

The challenge was to create a visual language that balances scientific credibility, cultural awareness, and quiet confidence. A brand that feels considered the moment it’s picked up—whether in Lagos or Abuja.

The system is built on restraint. The wordmark is clean and grounded, designed to feel confident without excess. The palette is reduced to black, white, and ash—nothing more. Black establishes authority. White creates clarity. Ash introduces depth without softness. It’s controlled, modern, and intentional. Variants are not separated by color, but through structure—typography, hierarchy, and layout. Every SKU speaks the same language.

Packaging is designed to belong naturally in a man’s space. Minimal copy. Balanced proportions. Matte surfaces with subtle finishes like spot UV—details that are felt before they’re noticed.

NOMEN is not just a product. It’s a position.
A belief that the Nigerian man deserves a brand that was designed with him in mind from the very beginning.
