Student Anastasia Shulga Develops Next Page as a New Generation Bookstore Brand Connecting Reading With Youth Identity and Culture

Next Page — a New Generation Bookstore

NEXT PAGE is a new-generation bookstore where reading becomes a form of self-expression. The brand speaks in a voice that is bold, lively, and full of character, addressing its audience as equals. Here, books are no longer perceived as an obligation, but as a superpower — a tool for identity, imagination, and personal growth.

The project is aimed at teens and young adults — a visually literate generation that values not only content, but also form, style, and a sense of belonging. NEXT PAGE responds to this mindset by creating an environment where reading is both culturally relevant and socially engaging.

The identity is built around the idea of dialogue. The logo transforms into a character: a minimalist “N” wearing glasses that acts as the voice of the brand. Together with a set of supporting graphic elements, it forms a communicative system that interacts directly with the audience. Through bold typography, short messages, and expressive compositions, the brand creates a sense of conversation across all touchpoints.

The visual language is defined by contrast, rhythm, and scale. It is fundamentally built around bold, expressive typography, using simple yet precise visual means to communicate clearly and directly. The system relies on strong, impactful elements that work together to create an energetic and recognizable identity.

Phrases such as “More than books” and “Reading is our superpower” reinforce the positioning of NEXT PAGE as more than a bookstore. It becomes a space where reading is integrated into personal identity — a shared language that connects, inspires, and empowers its audience.
