MARQUETRY — Premium Wine Identity

MARQUETRY is a premium wine label concept inspired by the ancient craft of marquetry — the intricate art of inlaying wood veneers to create complex, layered compositions.
Just like fine wine, marquetry is a process of patience, precision, and mastery. Each element is carefully selected, combined, and refined to achieve balance and depth. This philosophy became the foundation of the brand identity.

The visual system is built around structured compositions, refined typography, and subtle detailing that echo the craftsmanship behind both marquetry and winemaking. The label design emphasizes elegance through restraint, using a minimal color palette and carefully considered spacing to create a sense of quiet luxury.

Special attention was given to tactile elements — embossing, foil accents, and paper texture — enhancing the sensory experience and reinforcing the premium positioning of the product.
The identity extends beyond a single label into a flexible system, allowing variations across different wine types while maintaining a cohesive visual language.
The identity is designed to communicate value through detail rather than excess, appealing to an audience that appreciates subtlety, materiality, and craftsmanship. Every element — from composition to typography — is intentionally restrained, allowing the design to feel timeless rather than trend-driven. This approach positions the brand within a more sophisticated and enduring segment of the market.
