Belezos is a Rioja Alavesa winery defined by a continuous dialogue between eras. This project was born from an immersive exploration of family identity, driven by the ambition to synthesize the energy of a generational handover. Our mission was to turn the weight of heritage into forward momentum for the future.

After decades of unwavering stewardship of the land, the Zugober family has reached its most decisive inflection point: the passing of the torch. This branding initiative gives voice to that transition—where taking the lead is not about repetition, but about honoring and reinterpreting what was planted, projecting the essence of Belezos toward a new horizon.

We worked meticulously to distill the winery’s DNA—its roots, its legitimacy, and its soul—encapsulating them in a brand language that allows the family to navigate future challenges with clarity, confidence, and poise

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

• Visualizing the Succession: Positioning the next generation as architects of a new era, merging inherited wisdom with a contemporary mindset.
• Leveraging the Legacy: Transforming family history into a strategic brand asset that communicates trust, stability, and expertise.
• Defining “Quiet Ambition”: Carving out a unique brand territory that cuts through market noise to focus on intentionality, measured excellence, and craft.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensuring the brand narrative reflects the product: honest wines deeply rooted in Lapuebla de Labarca.
• Authentic Storytelling: Evolving a proven legacy into a modern, inspiring narrative without resorting to hollow dogmas.

THE CREATIVE CONCEPT: Harmonious Contrast

The creative concept is anchored in a harmonious contrast: calm vs. ambition, pause vs. longing, serenity vs. aspiration. The previous generation provides roots and stability; the new generation brings precision, meticulous care, and revitalized energy.

This is not a radical rupture, but a conscious, evolutionary refinement. The proposal refines the gaze upon a single purpose: respecting tradition while projecting a more precise and distinguished future.

By synthesizing the Belezos brand manifesto, we returned to its etymological origin. Belezos refers to the traditional tools of the harvest: baskets, vats, and skins. This metaphor serves as the conceptual foundation of our work: a viticultural legacy that is both functional and poetic.

GRAPHIC SOLUTION

Bringing this vision to life demanded restraint and subtlety. We filtered out the superfluous to focus on authenticity—a fine-tuning process guiding the brand’s rollout over three years.
1. The Narrative of Time: Transitioning from a static, historical discourse to a dynamic one. Belezos embodies a “Legacy in Motion”, where time is an ally for refinement, not merely preservation.
2. Evolutionary Visual Identity: A formal decluttering introduces air and modernity. By stripping away ornamental elements, the brand breathes timeless elegance. Sobriety itself becomes a statement of luxury.
3. Humanizing the Process: Branding through the lens of people. The family and team are guarantors of authenticity. Belezos is a “winery of shared authorship”, where every decision is deliberate and every step carries shared purpose.

BRAND PLATFORM: Connecting Purpose and Competitiveness
The new generation’s vision informs every strategic move. By championing estate-grown fruit, transparent storytelling, and stewardship of their heritage, they have built a brand that knows where it comes from and where it is headed.
This philosophy guides the next strategic phase: aligning purpose with market competitiveness. To translate the generational handover to the global market, we defined a distinctive communication space. A refreshed portfolio and a deeper connection to the terroir create a more inspiring perspective, fusing tradition and ambition in every visual gesture.
• Elevation of the Plots: Recognizing the unique potential of individual vineyards, from Finca Zarzamochuelo to Sierra Carbón. Each wine is treated as a singular world, with its own identity.
• Radical Sincerity: A direct, honest, and unadorned language that resonates with the discerning consumer—someone who values the truth behind the label as much as the wine in the glass.
