Problem:
The brand entered the market as a new Ukrainian cosmetic brand that combines two worlds: scientific anti-aging formulas and the power of natural ingredients. The main task was to unite these directions into a single, clear identity, without creating contradictions. It was important to harmoniously combine scientific accuracy with the “magic” of nature, create a visual language that seems professional, but not cold, and avoid typical clichés of “natural cosmetics”. At the same time, the identity had to reflect the duality of the brand both through the name and visual style, while remaining flexible enough to scale in a growing product line and different categories.
Solution:
We built the brand around the concept of duality, where laboratory precision meets natural elegance. The name GENIO SKINLAB became the main carrier of this idea. Genio personifies femininity, intuition and a subtle sense of magic, rooted in the personal story of the founder. Skinlab brings expertise, research and a clear scientific basis.
The visual identity balances these two layers through a combination of clean, structured typography and soft, natural accents. The system feels refined and controlled, but not sterile. Light, space and subtle details create a sense of calm and trust, while maintaining a premium and modern look.
This approach allowed us to create a scalable system that works across multiple areas: packaging, communication and future product extensions, maintaining brand consistency while providing flexibility.
