PinotAgency Extends Pom X Into Sparkling Wine Can Packaging With Strong Shelf Appeal

Our task was to create an extension of the popular Pom X sparkling wine brand in a can format, preserving its recognizability and brand equity while adapting it to a new consumption scenario. Since the brand already exists in bottle form, the packaging design needed to ensure continuity rather than create the impression of an entirely new product. The target audience is men and women aged 25–45 in the mass-market segment, for whom convenience, mobility, and personal consumption occasions are key priorities.
We built the label design as a direct continuation of the bottle version, retaining the brand’s core visual code — a prominent fruit medallion at the center of the composition. Pomegranate, blackberry, and mango serve as the primary focal point, driving flavor differentiation while maintaining a cohesive line identity. The design architecture is built on a clean, legible composition with dynamic diagonal stripes that convey a sense of movement and effervescence. SKU color coding addresses flavor navigation: deep purple for Blueberry, red for Pomegranate, and warm gold for Mango create a vibrant, eye-catching shelf lineup that functions as a unified system. Importantly, the packaging design retains a wine-like character — sufficient white space, restraint, clean typography, and an absence of excessive graphic effects.
As a result, the Pom X brand organically extended its lineup with a modern, convenient format without losing its identity. The can version strengthens shelf presence, drives impulse purchase, and unlocks new consumption occasions — all while maintaining the positioning of a sparkling wine. The design has become a tool for brand scaling: it supports recognizability, creates a strong color block in retail, and enhances the emotional appeal of the product for a younger audience.
