Açaí Frutaria Packaging Design by Ismo Design Restores Açaí as Real Fruit With Honest Shelf Impact

The new visual identity for Açaí Frutaria was created to restore the perception of açaí as real fruit rather than an artificial dessert. The packaging reflects the brand positioning — more fruit, real flavor — emphasizing naturalness, authenticity, and freshness while highlighting clear product differentiators such as the absence of artificial additives, higher pulp concentration, and tangible benefits for both consumers and the planet. The project involved developing a visual language that distances itself from category clichés and reinforces credibility through clarity. The identity balances commercial appeal and honesty, communicating natural attributes without exaggeration and presenting the product as healthier and more flavorful. The objective was to express the brand’s differentiation at the point of sale, maintaining desirability while conveying a healthy proposition in a market saturated with generic packaging and overstated claims. The design needed to perform effectively both inside freezers and in consumers’ hands, strengthening perceived value. By replacing artificial aesthetics with elements that translate real flavor, the system uses organic typography, fruit prominence in the composition, and a vibrant yet natural color palette to reinforce freshness and quality perception. Every component — from information hierarchy to tone of voice — was designed to communicate with immediacy and trust. The result is packaging that stands out on shelf, increases confidence in the product, and reinforces the idea of true açaí through a clear and honest visual experience.
