Following the success of Sundae’s Body Whip range, Jo Cutri Studio was engaged to develop the product and packaging design for the Sundae Body Mist collection, extending the brand into fragrance. The objective was to translate Sundae’s playful, colour-forward identity into a new category while maintaining the recognisable character of the brand.

Central to the project was the bottle form. Early explorations focused on creating a silhouette that felt distinctive yet cohesive with the existing Sundae range. Inspired by soft, rounded geometry and subtle Y2K references, the final bottle introduces a sculptural, jellybean-inspired shape designed for both shelf presence and tactile appeal.

The gentle asymmetry of the form creates visual interest while maintaining balance and ergonomics. Proportions were carefully refined to ensure the bottle felt compact, functional, and comfortable in hand. Rather than relying solely on graphics, the physical object itself contributes to brand recognition.

The packaging system was developed as a cohesive family. Each fragrance carries its own palette and personality, while consistent structural decisions, typography, and layout logic unify the range. Colour plays a defining role, supporting differentiation while reinforcing Sundae’s signature aesthetic.

Developed in collaboration with Monk Media, the bottle was resolved through a 3D-led workflow, enabling precise refinement of curvature, proportion, and surface behaviour prior to production.

The final bottle and packaging design balances playfulness with clarity, resulting in a range that feels expressive, contemporary, and unmistakably Sundae.
