Refining a Legacy Brand for a Digital-First Future: dwp interics

dwpinterics is one of India’s most established architecture and workplace design firms, with more than four decades of experience and a body of work that spans over sixty million square feet for global organisations. The brand has evolved steadily over time, supported by a long-standing identity and digital presence that grew alongside the practice.

As the firm’s scale and visibility continued to expand, the opportunity was not to change the brand, but to express it with greater clarity and focus in a digital context. The intention was simple. Keep the foundation intact and refine how it shows up today.

The project began as a website redesign, with an emphasis on improving structure, content flow, and ease of navigation for senior decision makers. As the pages were reworked and the messaging sharpened, it became clear that the identity itself needed a lighter, more intentional refinement to support the new experience.

This was never about reinventing the brand completely. Core elements were preserved, while details were carefully adjusted to improve confidence, consistency, and performance across modern digital use.

The brand message evolved alongside this process. Creativity has always been central to dwpinterics, but the way the firm operates today reflects a deeper sense of direction and capability. The updated slogan, “Driven by What’s Possible”, emerged from that shift. It speaks to how the firm thinks, delivers, and moves projects forward, rather than design as an outcome alone.

The logo refinement followed the same thinking. The original structure was retained, while proportions, weight, and readability were refined to perform better across screens and devices. A familiar triangular element within the mark was then developed into a three-dimensional compass asset.

This evolution introduced a clearer sense of direction and depth, symbolising the firm’s approach through People, Process, and Progress, while remaining rooted in the original identity.

The website redesign focused on clarity and restraint. Information hierarchy was simplified. Visual noise was reduced. A clean, mobile-first interface allows project work to take the lead, supported by typography and spacing designed for how decision makers read and move through content. The 3D compass asset appears subtly within the layouts, adding depth without distraction.

The refined identity was extended across key brand touchpoints, including stationery, signage, digital assets, apparel, and internal materials. Together, these elements form a cohesive system that feels composed, practical, and easy to use in everyday contexts.

This project represents an evolution of a legacy brand shaped with intention, respect for its history, and clarity for where it is heading next.
