Vial — When Mondrian Meets Daily Nutrition
Vial is a conceptual packaging system that reimagines daily nutritional supplements through the lens of design rather than diagnosis. Developed by Presentable, it’s less about fixing what’s broken and more about building what sustains. Think Mondrian meeting the medicine cabinet: a system where routine becomes composition, and balance is built through repetition, not restriction.
The visual logic is deliberate. A rational, modular grid anchors the identity, pulling from Mondrian’s disciplined abstraction and the satisfying lock-and-click clarity of Tetris. Each repeating block represents an individual nutrient. Isolated, yes, but always part of a larger whole. The intentional subtractions? Those speak to absorption, to the body’s shifting needs, to the idea that wellness isn’t static. It evolves.
Solid forms ground the system in stability and trust. But the uneven edges, the missing segments, they bring movement. They acknowledge that biology isn’t binary. It’s variable, organic, alive.
Where most supplement branding operates from lack (fix this deficiency, correct that imbalance), Vial starts differently. It treats nutrition as cumulative architecture, built through consistency rather than urgency. The modular grid isn’t decoration. It’s philosophy made visible. Nutrients stack, interact, compound over time. The Tetris reference runs deeper than aesthetics. It’s about the satisfaction of fitting pieces together, of creating structure through patient repetition.
Colour is used sparingly, almost clinically. Functional accents signal daily variation without chaos. Typography is restrained. The palette, controlled. Everything in service of clarity and transparency.
Vial positions itself against the two dominant modes of nutrition branding: pharmaceutical sterility and aspirational wellness culture. One treats you like a patient. The other treats you like a project. Vial does neither. It’s wellness as everyday architecture. As ritual. As something composed quietly, consistently, over time. Not alarm bell. Not lifestyle aspiration. Just honest structure you build for yourself, one block at a time.
