Para Nisa is the first wine by Casa Landeiro, conceived not only as a debut, but as a gesture of gratitude toward the land and people that welcomed the project. Rooted in respect for origin, culture, and time, the wine pays tribute to the town of Nisa and its long-standing pottery tradition.
From the very first conversations with Luiz and Graziela Landeiro and Vasco Magalhães (The Wine Office), one principle guided the project: respect—for the land, for its natural rhythm, and for the culture shaped by both. At its core, Para Nisa reflects the relationship between people and land as a relationship with time: time to care, to wait, and to observe; time that shapes soil, vines, and those who work them.
This understanding led to the concept Tempo da Terra—time of the land and for the land. Time as nature knows it: cyclical, continuous, and always in transformation.
The visual identity and packaging design translate this concept through the hourglass, merging Casa Landeiro’s symbol with Nisa’s pottery heritage. A clay-textured hourglass was developed to express the connection between human touch, earth, and time—where form is slowly shaped through patience and care. Rather than measuring time, the hourglass honours a rhythm, reminding us that nothing is rushed and everything arrives in its own time.
Earthy tones and a restrained, minimal visual language ground the project in its origin. Designed to evolve rather than conclude, the identity unfolds gradually across labels and future releases. More than a beginning, Para Nisa is an expression of gratitude and belonging—a celebration of work, memory, and continuity, shaped season after season.
