CRWLB is a conceptual library built around books that do not aim to comfort the reader. Instead of offering escape or reassurance, these texts confront, unsettle, and demand attention. The project was created for people who feel lost in the endless stream of recommendations, ratings, and familiar titles, and who are looking for a more focused and intense reading experience.
The library is curated as a space of tension rather than ease. Each book is selected for its ability to raise difficult questions, create inner pressure, and resist simple interpretation. CRWLB brings together authors whose writing is emotionally and philosophically dense, including Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leonid Andreyev, Friedrich Nietzsche, Franz Kafka, and others whose texts challenge the reader instead of providing clear answers.
CRWLB positions literature as an experience that requires effort and involvement. The project avoids the logic of mass choice and instead focuses on carefully assembled selections that emphasize depth, complexity, and friction. The library is not designed as a neutral archive, but as a curated environment where reading becomes a conscious and deliberate act.
The visual language of the project was developed through a combination of experimental and applied tools. Processing was used to explore generative graphic systems and visual structures. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator were applied for layout, typography, and visual refinement. AI tools were used to create mockups and presentation visuals, allowing the project to test different material, spatial, and contextual scenarios.
