Lucas Gabriel is a young architect working across architecture and interiors. His practice is shaped by art, music, design, culture, and, above all, human interaction. Born in Rio de Janeiro and graduated from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, he understands space as a direct extension of the way people live, move, and relate to their surroundings. This perspective guides his approach to design, where architecture is not treated as an isolated object, but as part of everyday life. In 2025, he joined Studio Arthur Casas in São Paulo, expanding his technical repertoire and deepening his involvement with projects of greater scale and complexity, while maintaining a strong connection to his roots and personal references.
Lighting plays a central role in his work and informs decisions related to form, rhythm, proportion, and materiality. Light is understood as a constructive element, capable of shaping atmosphere, revealing textures, and defining spatial experience. The predominant use of dark tones in the visual system follows this same logic: creating contrast to strengthen the perception of light and enhance shadows, depth, and spatial layers. Architecture and interiors are conceived as a continuous process, developed through a single line of spatial reasoning, where structure and atmosphere coexist and complement each other.
This vision is translated into the visual identity through a variable logo system. The outlined logo represents architecture, connected to drawing, structure, and constructive logic. The filled logo represents interiors, associated with materiality, density, and atmosphere. A two-directional arrow appears as a conceptual element of the project, symbolizing both the connection between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and the constant dialogue between architecture and interiors. Together, these elements form a flexible and coherent system that reflects Lucas Gabriel’s practice: precise, sensitive, and grounded in the relationship between space, light, and life.
