Team Up: Strategic Rebranding That Brings  a Product-first Culture  to the World of IT Recruitment by Brandglow

Team Up Recruitment has been delivering results for years by recruiting candidates for the biggest players in the corporate market (banking sector, SSC). However, the company’s evolution and unique working methodology have pushed the brand in a new direction. The target has become the product company sector: dynamic SaaS companies, global start-ups and R&D centres.

The challenge:
how to make a recruitment agency visually and communicatively “fit” into the world of SaaS and technology companies?

The change: new language visual code

The previous image positioned Team Up as a reliable supplier for corporations (IT Recruitment). However, the new target group – start-ups/technology companies – are looking for a partner, not a subcontractor. Someone who understands terms such as “Tech Excellence” and “Delivery”. We had to change the narrative from “mass service” to “precise talent partnership” (Tech Talent Partner).

The solution: new communication strategy elements and implementation

We understood that Team Up does not operate like a typical agency, but rather like a software house: they work in sprints and are like a “squadron” (project team). Our task was to translate this brand DNA into visual language.

SaaS-style design system: we abandoned corporate heaviness in favour of the lightness known from modern application interfaces. Digital-first branding – transparent, functional, concrete. This is the language that the founders and CTO know from their own products.

Eskadra 2.0 symbolism: we subtly refreshed the “three stripes” motif (symbolising the “squadron”/team), giving it a modern, technical polish. This is a nod to the teamwork methodology that distinguishes Team Up.

Tech Talent Partner positioning: in terms of communication, we have moved away from the generic ‘recruiting IT specialists’. The new brand speaks the language of technology business: about scaling R&D teams, pipelines, ownership culture and delivery.

The result: Team Up 2.0 is a partner for innovators

The new Team Up is a brand ready to talk to Silicon Valley and European unicorns:

Credibility: the image is consistent with the tools used by their clients (Jira, Notion).

Fit: the brand no longer looks like a ‘foreign body’ among modern product brands, but like a natural extension of them (in-house HR department).

Distinction: a unique combination of a human face in recruitment with technological precision of processes.
