Vasnam was established in 2021 by Almas Tejarat Padra Company, with a mission to introduce and expand the rich heritage of Iranian traditional sweets in a modern, contemporary way while preserving its authentic roots. From the thoughtfully crafted logo and origami-inspired packaging to patterns drawn from Yazd’s architecture and Persian miniatures, Vasnam is an authentic, imaginative, and distinctive brand.

Vasnam’s visual identity draws inspiration from the Persian letter “و” (V), stylized into a graphic form with balanced angles and clarity. The inner cuts in the logo reference geometric shapes found in the historic city of Yazd—such as diamonds and triangles—and nod to the traditional baklava dessert.
The brand’s core color palette is deeply rooted in Persian culture:
Pistachio Green, evoking the vibrant hues of pistachios, an iconic ingredient in Iranian confections.
Saffron Red, reminiscent of the rich red tones of saffron and rose petals, essential elements in Persian sweets.
Rosewater Cream, reflecting the delicate, creamy tones of rosewater, symbolizing elegance and purity.
These colors symbolize the key ingredients of traditional Iranian sweets—wheat flour, pistachio, saffron, and rosewater—and reflect the warmth and richness of Persian culinary heritage.

Vasnam’s patterns and visuals are inspired by Yazd’s architecture, Persian miniature art, and scenes of people sharing sweets and conversation, mirroring the deep-rooted tradition of Iranian hospitality. The design also features the ancient cypress tree of Yazd, a symbol of resilience and cultural legacy.
The brand’s packaging embraces a glue-free origami style, combining aesthetic elegance with practical, hygienic solutions (using Invercote board) while optimizing cost efficiency. The design blends elegance, charm, and warmth, offering an inviting and memorable experience for consumers.
