Still is a conceptual zero-waste makeup and skincare brand created as a design exploration into what modern, responsible beauty could look like.
The project began with a simple question: If we were to build a beauty brand from scratch today—without legacy systems, wasteful habits, or unnecessary packaging—what would it feel like? Still represents that vision. Every product in the concept line is imagined as refillable, reusable, or fully recyclable, with clean, skin-focused formulations at its core. While the brand doesn’t exist in the real market, the goal was to design something that could—a system that feels both future-friendly and emotionally appealing.
Visually, Still embraces bold minimalism. The saturated orange tone was chosen to express clarity, energy, and a sense of modern optimism. Paired with soft, rounded typography, the identity balances strength with approachability. The forms are smooth and sculptural, designed to feel contemporary and tactile—objects the user would want to keep, refill, and interact with every day. Nothing in the design is ornamental; every choice serves the concept of intentional, low-waste beauty.
Because the brand is conceptual, the design process focused on exploring how sustainability can feel premium rather than restrictive. The packaging system was developed around longevity, imagining components that invite repeated use rather than disposal. The refills are central to the idea: simple, intuitive, and seamlessly integrated into the overall structure. Even the way the product sits, reflects light, and feels in the hand was considered to communicate a soft yet confident presence.
Still is ultimately a creative study in conscious consumption—a visual experiment in slowing down, using less, and designing with purpose. It’s a reminder that sustainable beauty doesn’t have to look rustic or muted; it can be bold, modern, and emotionally resonant. Through this concept, the intention was to propose a future where beauty routines create impact without excess, and where design encourages thoughtful habits through simplicity, clarity, and aesthetic pleasure.
