One of the thematic days of the 4th film festival is titled “When Everyone Leaves”. This day is dedicated to films that explore the emotional state of absence, solitude, and the quiet spaces that remain after human presence fades. The program includes works that reflect on memories, abandoned places, and the subtle stories objects can tell when people are no longer around. Each day of the festival carries its own distinct visual identity, helping visitors immerse themselves in the specific atmosphere and thematic direction of the screenings.
For this particular day, the visual concept emphasizes a sense of emptiness and the traces of human activity that linger in the environment. To express this feeling, I created a series of compositions featuring stacked chairs placed in locations that appear completely deserted. The chairs serve as symbolic objects: they represent gatherings, conversations, and shared experiences that have already ended, leaving behind only quiet reminders of what once was. Their arrangement adds a sculptural, almost surreal quality to the imagery, reinforcing the mood of frozen time and reflective stillness.
These compositions are used across various promotional materials, including posters, banners, and festival merchandise. When applied to prints and physical objects, the imagery deepens the conceptual narrative by turning everyday items into visual metaphors. The design creates a cohesive atmosphere around the theme, allowing the audience to feel the emotional tone of “When Everyone Leaves” even before the film screenings begin.
