Lisa Sirbaugh Creative Transforms Marine Air with Bold New Brand Identity

For six decades, Marine Air has been a trusted supplier of electro-mechanical and electronic components to some of the world’s most demanding sectors, including aerospace, maritime, defense, transportation, and energy. Known for its extensive industry expertise, consistent reliability, and personalized customer service, Marine Air has established a strong reputation for delivering high-performance solutions that ensure the smooth operation of global systems.

As the company approached its 60th anniversary, Marine Air recognized the need to evolve its brand to reflect the company it has become. To reinforce its status as an industry leader, the Marine Air team engaged Lisa Sirbaugh Creative to lead a comprehensive rebrand. The previous brand and visual identity had served the company for many years but no longer reflected Marine Air’s growth, evolution, or forward-looking vision. It also lacked the versatility and market presence required to support the company’s growing needs.

Together, we set out to develop a bold new brand—one that would effectively communicate Marine Air’s specialized focus, trusted reputation, and lasting impact across key global industries. We began with a strategic discovery process to define Marine Air’s revitalized brand objectives. Through collaborative sessions and targeted research, we examined internal goals, business strategy, audience insights, and market positioning—leading to a comprehensive brand brief that served as the foundation for the new Marine Air brand. This groundwork informed a visual brief that aligned creative direction with strategic goals. The process sparked collaborative dialogue around style, look, and functionality, ultimately driving the aesthetics of the new identity and subsequent brand touchpoints.

The result is a modernized brand identity that embodies strength, precision, and purpose. At its core, a brandmark composed of two propeller blades that form rising wings—signifying Marine Air’s leadership in aerospace—while the negative space reveals a ship’s bow surging forward—a nod to Marine Air’s maritime presence. The companion wordmark is clean and contemporary with subtle details that reflect the propeller motif. To celebrate Marine Air’s monumental 60th anniversary, we also created a responsive set of commemorative logos for 2025. We refreshed the color palette to emphasize the brand’s industry focus while visually communicating its core characteristics. Complementing the new visual system is an inspiring, purpose-driven tagline worthy of an industry leader that’s Powered to Propel the World.

Collectively, the new brand identity is refined, streamlined, and highly versatile—designed to perform seamlessly across digital and print applications. A true embodiment of Marine Air’s purpose: Delivering high-performance electro-mechanical products that propel global industries forward.
