St Hubert Enters the Dairy Aisle with Plant-Forward Creams Designed by Lonsdale

St Hubert Enters the Dairy Aisle with Plant-Forward Creams Designed by Lonsdale

After relaunching its historic category with a full brand overhaul and two margarine innovations, St Hubert shifts up a gear and enters the dairy aisle. As the historic leader of “corps gras” in France and Italy, the move is both strategic and symbolic: a new kind of cream that brings animal milk and vegetable oils together so consumers can eat more plant-forward without losing indulgence.

The range opens with two clear promises. St Hubert Épaisse & Gourmande (30% fat) delivers visible body and richness for cooking that needs structure. St Hubert Onctuosité Parfaite (15% fat) offers a lighter, everyday smoothness that still satisfies. The proposition is simple at shelf and immediate in the kitchen: more plant-forward, still delicious.

Design does the heavy lifting. The brand is unapologetically prominent, larger and more assertive than on the margarine packs, so shoppers clock St Hubert first when scanning the dairy aisle. The identity builds on the Lonsdale-crafted logo and its idea of positive rurality: fresh, optimistic, and modern, grounded in French countryside cues without slipping into nostalgia.

On pack, the story resolves at a glance. Plant codes appear through subtle seed motifs that signal the vegetal contribution, while a generous cream swirl sets appetite and reassurance on taste. Hierarchy is disciplined, claims are legible at speed, and the two intensities separate cleanly without breaking the block effect at shelf. The result is a system that reads brand first, appetite second, navigation third, exactly how decisions are made in crèmerie.

In use, the range is built for real kitchens. Sweet or savory, sauces or desserts, weekday cooking or weekend comfort, the creams behave as promised: generous texture, reliable performance, and a nudge toward a more vegetal plate without compromise on flavor.

Lonsdale partnered with St Hubert on this pivotal step to help shape the dairy of tomorrow: more plant-forward, never less delicious. The products are already in store and highly impactful on shelf, converting innovation into presence and presence into choice.
