Lush, fresh, and irresistibly charming, the new rosé from Casa Relvas immediately captivated us with its delicate pale pink hue, a color that naturally evokes a refined and intimately feminine universe. To embody this spirit, we named it Pom-Pom.
Casa Relvas is the continuation of a family legacy deeply connected to the land for five generations, across two continents. The project began in 1997 in São Miguel de Machede, Redondo, in Southern Portugal, when Alexandre Relvas envisioned in Herdade de São Miguel the wide-open horizons that echoed the landscapes of his family’s roots in Africa. Since then, the estate has grown and flourished, today embracing not only vineyards but also olive groves, always guided by the values of tradition, respect for nature, and a forward-looking vision.
The challenge presented to us was to create a distinctive identity for this rosé: a wine that would stand out, break conventions, and bring a touch of irreverence while adding value to the Casa Relvas portfolio. The answer was Pom-Pom: a name that conveys playfulness, femininity, and modern charm.
For the packaging, we selected a refined and elegant bottle with a subtle yet striking difference from traditional rosé bottles. Vertical fine engravings cascade gracefully along the glass, from the shoulders down to the upper part of the neck, creating a tactile sense of sophistication. The lower part of the bottle remains smooth, intentionally left as a blank canvas, where we placed a delicate illustration inspired by feminine sensibility, bringing the concept to life.
The result is a wine that is not only delightful to taste but also to see — a perfect harmony of freshness, elegance, and design.
