Brand Harmonia
Harmonia is a music publishing house dedicated to presenting distinguished and serious works of music. Alongside publishing the masterpieces of established maestros, the brand also sees its mission in introducing and supporting emerging young talents.
Harmonia envisions a clear path for emerging artists while promoting distinguished music in society. It believes that high-quality art inspires thoughtful reflection and contributes to personal and social growth and development.
In designing the packaging for Harmonia’s products, a key insight guided the creative direction: for musicians, the hand is an invaluable and essential element in the act of creation. Building upon this idea, a dynamic yet cohesive brand identity was developed.
The concept deliberately avoids conventional formalist methods, instead solving the challenge of consistency across the brand’s touchpoints while ensuring that each product cover is deeply personal to the artist behind it. Importantly, the visual language also highlights and celebrates the individuality of young musicians within their works.
The execution of the concept is realized through close-up photography of the artist’s hands—whether playing an instrument or singing—captured in black and white with focused lighting, then applied to the product covers. These
hands extend beyond the covers and become a central element throughout the brand’s touchpoints, enabling
audiences to define the brand with a simple phrase:
“The brand that features the artist’s hands on its covers.”
This identity system not only offers strong scalability but also remains entirely dynamic and alive.
