Ollinate Labs Delivers a Transformative Brand Identity for Olli

In an evolving Indian context, where design is often viewed only through an aesthetic or functional lens, agencies and studios still play conventional roles. There is still a widespread hesitance to solve macro problems that may fall outside of traditional ‘design’ territory. Our vision was to build a creative ecosystem that extends beyond the confines of established design practices, and actions a higher-order approach towards multidisciplinary challenges.

To encapsulate the inherently transformative personality of our practice, we turned to the natural world for inspiration. After extensive research across the animal kingdom, we zeroed in on the humble bee, whose size understates its monumental role. As the world’s most efficient pollinators, bees work with both precision and fluidity. Each solitary flight plays an irreplaceable role in sustaining the hive and driving biodiversity, collectively serving the greater good of the entire ecosystem. This harmony between individuality and collaboration became the foundation of Pollinate’s name, logo, dynamic identity, and philosophy.

Pollinate had to exist across current and future ecosystems without fragmentation. Olli’s pathway set in motion a cohesive yet freeing brand system that flourishes across Communication, Processes, IP’s, and beyond. In its visual form, it is the central force for our compositions, brought to life with a monochromatic palette, a clean typeface, and an electrifying blue. Bee-inspired motion behaviours infuse dynamic energy. The pathways extend as a framework to guide nomenclature, seamlessly shaping our creative playground with tools to imagine, explore and innovate.
