Packaging Design for Ruasshammer Hof – Regional Potatoes with Character

For Ruasshammer Hof, a family-run agricultural business that sells regional potatoes online and in farm stores, I developed a new, full-surface packaging design to replace the previous hand-applied label stickers.

The new design offers numerous advantages:

Clear differentiation between varieties:
The targeted use of color and typography gives each variety a strong visual identity  immediately recognizable on the shelf and in shipping.

Professional brand image:
The new layout looks high-quality, modern, and trustworthy  ideal for positioning the brand more confidently among regional competitors.

No more manual assembly:
The switch from individual labels to printed bags saves time, reduces error sources, and optimizes the packing process.

Two-color flexographic printing:
The design was developed specifically for efficient flexographic printing with only two Pantone colors – cost-effective and visually striking.

Illustrative reference to origin:
A hand-drawn potato plant illustrates the product’s agricultural roots and creates an emotional connection to the farm’s values: authenticity, craftsmanship, and regionality.

Uniform design with added value:
Social media channels, origin info, and a QR code leading to the farm’s digital content are directly integrated  informative and customer-friendly.
